Betty Lynn Hammond, 72, of Springfield, Ohio, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 13, 2024. She was born in Ironton, Ohio, on March 27, 1952. She retired from Grimes Manufacturing (Honeywell). Betty is survived by her husband Walter Hammond, stepson; Andy (Misty) Hammond, sisters; Barbara (Jay) Burchwell of Springfield, Judy (David) Ray of Springfield, Charlotte (Richard) Henry of Pensacola, Florida, grandchildren; Carter, Carson, Carly, Casen, nieces, and nephews; Chad (April) Estep, Rebecca (Michael) Downey, Ryan (Britley) Ray, Derek (Holly) Henry. She was preceded in death by her parents; Scott and Betty (Lavender) Davis, stepson; Justin Hammond, niece; Amy Holycross and an infant nephew; Bryce Henry. No services are scheduled currently.
