Moore, Anita “Sissy”, (Miller) (Crabtree)
Anita peacefully passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on May 19, 2019 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center surrounded by family. She was born on August 21, 1947 to Harry S. and Fatina (Shaw) Miller. Anita grew up in the Cedarville/Clifton area. She ran several Stuckey’s Stores in Ohio and Oklahoma. She also worked at Cassano’s Pizza and at the U-Drive In. She was active in her school reunions and kept close contact with her lifelong friends, Paula White and Barbara Pitstick. Anita enjoyed the monthly card games with her family and making crafts, especially crocheting. She was preceded in death by her parents, 11 brothers and sisters; Harry, Robert, Raymond, John, Gail, Jimmy, Mary Lou, Betty Jane, Wanda and 2 baby brothers; also the love of her life, her husband John Moore. She leaves to cherish her memory her sister Mabel Haynes and her beloved niece Jean Pence who she helped raise and many other beloved nieces and nephews; special friend Sonny Crabtree and many other friends and family. Her fur babies Sam and Rosie were her joy in life. She attended Wings of Love Church. The family would like to thank the incredible nursing staff on the 4th floor of SRMC. Her nephew Rev. Danny R. Miller will be conducting the celebration of her life on Friday, May 24 in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with visiting hours from noon to 1:00PM. The service will begin at 1:00PM and burial will follow in the Clifton Cemetery. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
