Chesley W. “Chet” Fraley, 79, of Springfield, passed away October 18, 2018 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 22, 1939 in Sandy Hook, Kentucky, the son of Bechel and Ada Mae (Conn) Fraley. Mr. Fraley was retired from Navistar following 39 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Ethel; four brothers: Carl (Ruby), Roger, Glenn (Judy) and Ronnie; two sisters: Irene and Wanda; seven children: Phil (Nancy), Penelope (Terry), Monica (Kevin), Rhonda (David), Jeff (Darlene), Shirley (Bill) and Don (Michelle); ten grandchildren: Michael A., Michael T., Patrick, Tyler, Brittany (Charles), Chelsie, Devan, Thurston, Parker and Kristina; five great grandchildren: Kaylan, Zoey, Harper, Greyson, and Maggie. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, one sister and one grandson. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Tuesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Chaplain Janie Brewer officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until the time of the services.
