Gloria Hypes

Gloria Hypes, 66, of Springfield, passed away September 28, 2018 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 14, 1952 in Springfield, the daughter of Randolph and Mary (Hall) Jackson. Gloria enjoyed playing bingo and being with her family. She is survived by three children; Steve Jackson, Paul (Jenifer) Hypes and Jason Hypes, Springfield, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, siblings; Columbus (Cindy) Jackson, Urbana, Thomas Jackson, Springfield, Roy Jackson, Urbana, Annett (William) Smith, Sandra (David) Holycross, Mary (Jackson) Hall, Springfield and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons; Randolph and Larry Hypes, two sisters; Lotta Howard and Beverly Jackson and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Chaplain Chad Vickers officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
