Jacky Ray Osborne, 66, of Springfield, passed away on October 24, 2018. He was born in Springfield on May 25, 1952 to Clarence O. Freeze Jr. and Elsie Mae (Smith) Freeze. He is survived by two sisters, Katherine Freeze Edwards (Roland) and Charlene Durtschi (Steve), sister-in-law, Rita Osborne, nieces and nephews, Lisa (Joel) Zimmerman, Brad (Katrina) Osborne and Matthew (Zannette) Bowshier, great nieces and nephews, Joshua, Lauren, Alyssa and Kurstin, great great nieces and nephews, Danielle, Rylie, Carson, Jase, Devyn and Delaney, special friends. Roland, Fred, Larry, Scott, Mary, Debbie, Barb, Jimi and many other friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Barbara Ann Osborne, a brother, John Osborne and a nephew, Jeffrey Osborne. Jack graduated from Springfield North High School in 1970 and was a U. S. Army Veteran and served from 1972 to 1975 in Wildflecken, Germany. He received the Marksman medal and the National Defense Service medal. He enjoyed the Cleveland Browns and collecting Native American artifacts. Family and friends were very important to Jack and he will be genuinely missed by all. A viewing and celebration of life will be held Tuesday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. The funeral service will be held at Westside Community Church, 1335 Maiden Lane, in Springfield, beginning at 11:00AM Wednesday, with Pastor Joel Zimmerman and Pastor Costandy Saba officiating. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the D. A. V., 2410 Mechanicsburg Road, Springfield, OH 45503.
