Jody L. Nickels, 53, of Springfield, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018. He was born March 12, 1965 in Springfield, son of Helen (Palmer) and Robert Nickels, Sr. Jody is survived by his mother, Helen Moore of Springfield; five siblings, Sandra Nickels, Robert Nickels, Jr., Cindy Nickels, Ronnie Nickels, and Timmy Nickels; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother, David Nickels; sister, Cheryl McClanahan; step-son, David; and his father. Per the family’s wishes, there will be no services.
