Lokie Marie Kinder, 81, of Springfield, went home to be with her Lord on January 14, 2019 in Forest Glen. She was born May 3, 1937 in Logan, West Virginia, the daughter of Rolfe and Carrie (Foley) Cole. Mrs. Kinder was a devoted member of the International Pentecostal Church of Christ for over 50 years. Her church and her church family played a very important role in her life. She is survived by her loving son and daughter; Dan Kinder, Springfield and Tammy Parker, Hazard, Kentucky, grandchildren; Brent Parker, Kentucky, Alexis, Kyle and Karen Kinder, Springfield, one sister; Linda (John) Brown, Wyoming, four brothers; Ralph Cole, Franklin (Rowena) Cole, Ronald (Ardella) Cole and Garry Cole all of West Virginia and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; Kyle Kinder, whom she married in 1955, her son; Paul Gregory Kinder, sisters; Willodene Jenkins and Connie Jessee, brothers; Arthur Cole and David Cole and her parents. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Monday in the International Pentecostal Church of Christ, 3333 East National Road, Springfield. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Tuesday in the church with Pastor Richard Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
