Mary Sarven Obituary

Mary Elizabeth Sarven, 79, of Springfield, passed away January 14, 2019 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born February 10, 1939 in Springfield, the daughter of Elizabeth Viola (Harrington) (Tuvell) Jacobs and Murl Tuvell. Mrs. Sarven enjoyed camping and bowling but her favorite past time was spending time with her loving family. Survivors include one son; Harold T. Sarven (Debra), Springfield, three grandchildren; Ashleigh (Mike) Donaldson, Levi Sarven (fiancée Mandi Robinson), Melissa Sarven (Cody), three great grandchildren; Bryson and Alyson Donaldson and Leia Sarven, one sister; Mildred Loeffler, Springfield, very special friend; Ida Burkhardt, Springfield and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; Harold O. Sarven, a son; Bruce Sarven, a sister; Barbara Miller, her parents and her step father who raised her; Harold “Whitey” Jacobs. Visitation will be held from 2:00PM until 4:00PM Sunday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Monday in the funeral home with Pastor Marty Dennis officiating. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
