Thomas "Tom" W. Foster

Thomas W. “Tom” Foster, 68, of Springfield, passed away December 22, 2019 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born on February 6, 1951 in Springfield, the son of Robert Ray and Joyce F. (Palmer) Foster. Tom was retired from Navistar following over 30 years of employment. He was a car enthusiast and he enjoyed music. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Margaret R. (Lisch) Foster; two sons, Gregory T. Foster of Indian Lake and Robert Ray Foster of Springfield; grandchildren, Dustin, Tiffany, Cody, Michael, Robby, and Brittany; sister, Annie (Kevin) Ayrault of New York; brothers, Pete (Betsy) Freed, Gene (Jackie) Foster, all of Springfield, and Robert Foster of California; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by sister, Donna Weber, and by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Paul Dowdy officiating. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
