Warren Leroy Davis, 88, of Springfield, passed away December 8, 2018 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born March 4, 1930 in Belmont County, Ohio, the son of Manford and Edna (Brown) Davis. Mr. Davis enjoyed carpentry, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the United States Air Force and was retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Survivors include six children, Patricia Gail Thompson, Huber Heights, Sandra (Pat) Gleason, Cindy (Rick) Beam, Springfield, Jeffrey (Gina) Davis, Huber Heights, Gregory Davis, and Stephen (Michelle) Davis, Springfield; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Edith Matthews, New Mexico, and Della (Glenn) Mellot, West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Davis, May 17, 2005 and his parents. Funeral services and military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Rose Hill Chapel with Pastor Tim Riley officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10:30 until the time of the services. Entombment will follow. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
