William F. Mulkey

William F. Mulkey, 79, of Springfield, passed away August 6, 2018 in Forest Glen Health Campus. He was born January 4, 1939 in Murphy, North Carolina, the son of Oscar and Nellie Mulkey. Mr. Mulkey had served in the National Guard for 28 years, ending his career as a Master Sergeant. He was retired from Rose City Manufacturing. Survivors include his loving wife; Roberta (Johnson) Mulkey, children; Bill, Keith and Jeremiah, step children; Janice, Tim and Jim, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and siblings; Freddie, Lindia, Robert and Roy. He was preceded in death by siblings John and Barbara and his parents. At Mr. Mulkey’s request, there will be no services. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
