Obituary
Andrew “Andy” Hoover Ramey II, 57, of Springfield, passed away August 12, 2023 at Springfield Regional Hospital. He was born January 31, 1966 in Naples, Florida, the son of Andrew and Rosemarie (Grimaldi) Ramey. Andy enjoyed grilling out, listening to rock and roll music, and especially spending time with his grandson and his beloved dog, Pup. Survivors include his grandson, Nicholas Cochran; sisters, Roseanne Beverly and Gina Grimaldi; nieces, Andrea and Beth Beverly; nephew, Billy Beverly; great-nieces, Paris and Nora; aunt Tenni and uncle Doak; longtime friend, Traci Cochran and the Cochran family; and many other friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Andy was a great guy with a big heart, and he will be dearly missed. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-7 pm Tuesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
