Andrew “Drew” Rosales, 70, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025 at Good Shepherd Village. He was born November 26, 1954 in Urbana, Ohio, the son of Enrique and Eldelmira “Fina” (Gonzalez) Rosales.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Andrew had worked in construction, specifically building silos, roads, and bridges all over the state. He retired from John’s Construction in Urbana. He was a proud member of Laborers’ Local 1410. Mr. Rosales enjoyed attending Springfield Woodside Church with his sisters and nephew and was joyfully baptized there. He liked to play cards and dominos, enjoyed working on cars, and especially loved spending time with his family.
He leaves many beloved family members to cherish his memory, including seven children, Tara Woodland-Mercer and husband Anthony, Chris Woodland and wife Tina, Ria Vrittos-Bush and husband Ben, Toriana Rosales, Joey Munz, Andrea Rosales, and Desiree Shaffer-Bell; grandchildren, Isabella Mercer, Christopher “Drew” Woodland, Chandler Woodland, Marley Bush, Lucas Bush, Adrian Jaynes, Rae-lyn Jaynes, Alana Munz, Paris Munz, Joe “Joe-Joe” Munz, Kiara Fuller, Jesse Fuller, Khloe Thomas, Brayden Lane, Madison Lane, Sarah Carson, Ethan Carson, and Hannah Carson; great-grandchildren, Reese, Ryan, Montana, and Rowan Woodland, Mason and Karter Jaynes, and Khaleesi Baltes; brothers, Steve, Antonio, and Roberto Rosales; sisters, Anna Slone, Maria Atkins, and Guadalupe Wells; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by daughter, Rochelle Lynn Puckett on September 19, 2022; brothers, Enrique “Henry” Rosales and Danny “Keko” Rosales; and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 25, in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Friends may visit with the family from 12-1 pm. Burial will follow in Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.jkzfh.com.
