Anita Jo (Castle) Wilson

Anita Jo (Castle) Wilson, 53, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 in her home. She was born November 8, 1971 in Springfield, the daughter of Darrel and Judith E. (Routzahn) Castle. Anita had worked at Capital Home Health Care for many years. She was a talented crafter, who could craft just about anything, and she enjoyed camping and playing bingo. Survivors include her loving husband of 34 years, Rodney J. Wilson; her mother, Judith E. Castle; children, Joshua Wilson, Tiffany (Kevin) Whaley, RJ (Tiffany) Wilson, Carson (Kiera) Wilson, and Elisa Wilson; grandchildren, Natalie, Emma, Kane, Rosie, Sophia, and Annette Jo on the way; siblings, Monica (Johnny) Lippolis, Cheryl (David) Coey, David Castle, Ellie (Tim) Wiles, Mike (April) Castle, and Ricky (Dawn) Castle; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by great-grandson, Waylon; brother, Ronald Castle; and her father, Darrel Castle. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 5-7 pm.
