Belinda Stupp (Sowers) Obituary

Belinda Stupp (Sowers), a cherished mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio, after a strong battle with a rare form of Cancer. Born on February 1, 1982, in Middletown, Ohio, to the late Brenda McCarty, biological father, Paul Edward Sowers, and father Jerry Chaney, Belinda's warm spirit and loving nature were evident from a young age.

Belinda's life was marked by her devotion to her family, a passion that guided every aspect of her existence. Her children, Steven Hopkins (Allysa), Madison Lohnes, and Blake Lohnes, were the pride and joy of her life. She relished the role of motherhood, providing unconditional love and support to her children, and later, the delight of her life, her grandchildren. Belinda's siblings, Jerry (Heather) Chaney, Kathy Sowers, Kimberly Sowers, Michael Chaney, Sylvia Harrison, Paul Sowers, and Patricia Sowers, remember her as the glue that held the family together, always ready to lend an ear or a helping hand.

Belinda's professional journey as an STNA at Springfield Regional Medical Center was a testament to her caring nature. Her colleagues and patients alike benefited from her compassionate care and unwavering dedication. She was not only a valued team member but also a friend to many within the medical community.

Beyond her work and family, Belinda had a zest for life that was infectious. She had a particular talent for knitting, creating countless cherished pieces for her loved ones and friends. Her culinary skills were unmatched, and family gatherings were always a treat with Belinda in the kitchen. Holidays, especially Christmas, were a magical time, as she went above and beyond to make each celebration memorable.

Belinda's best friend, Danyele Bowman, stood by her side through thick and thin. Their bond was a source of strength and joy for Belinda, and their adventures and laughter filled her days with happiness.

Belinda's legacy is one of love, kindness, and the joy of everyday moments. She taught those around her the value of family, the importance of caring for others, and the beauty of a life well-lived. Her memory will be treasured by her many nieces and nephews, who saw in her a second mother and a guiding light.

As we bid farewell to Belinda, we celebrate a life that, though too short, was lived to the fullest. Her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us, and her memory will be forever etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Belinda Stupp's journey on this earth has ended, but her story will be told for generations to come, a tale of a woman who loved deeply and was deeply loved in return.
