Billy Callihan, 68, of Springfield, passed away January 1, 2025 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Billy, also known as Levi to many, was born August 8, 1956. He was a retired trucker of over 35 years, and his last job was with GFS. He was a member of 397 Eagles and the Union Club of Springfield, where he loved to play pool. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Nancy and Gene; his brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Ann; half-brother, Robert; brother-in-law, Ken, and his daughter, Marty; and stepdaughter, Kathren. Billy leaves behind his loving wife, Kathren; sisters, Paula, Penny (Robert); half-sister, Amy (Phil); and half-brother, David; as well as sons, Ben (Shannon) and Brian (MaryAnn); stepsons, Chad and Snapper; his daughters, Samantha (Bill) and Nancy; and several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Thursday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services.
