Bobbie Slone Obituary

   Bobbie Gene Slone, 88, of Springfield, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 25, 2024, in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born December 27, 1935, in Blaine, Kentucky, the son of Robert and Willia Bell (Smith) Slone. Bobbie was a dedicated member of the Springfield Enterprise Baptist Church and was a Verteran of the United States Army. He loved spending time with his family, watching all kinds of sports, helping at his church and spending time visiting and having coffee with his friends at Jeffrey Place. Bobbie was retired from Cooper Energy Services. Survivors include five children; Rhonda (Glen) Grim, Larry Lawhorn, Alisa Bradshaw, Tracy Slone and Perry Slone, grandchildren; Brittany Evans, Seth (Marlee) Evans, Danielle Slone, Andrea Lawhorn, Jacob (Anna) Lawhorn, Amber Moore, April Ramsey, Jeremy Raines and Scott (Ashley) Grim, numerous great grandchildren, special sister; Delores Storts, nieces; Denise Lovelace and Kimberly Storts and great nephew; Zach Devor. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife; Lydia Slone, June 27, 2011, a brother; Douglas Slone, a sister; Carolyn Sapp and his parents. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Tuesday, July 30, 2024, in the Springfield Enterprise Baptist Church, 3501 South Urbana Lisbon Road, South Charleston, Ohio 45368. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Wednesday in the church with Bobbie’s son in law; Pastor Glen Grim officiating. Entombment, with Military Honors, will be in Rose Hill Mausoleum.
