Bonnie K. (Blue Eyes) (Johnson) Lyons

Bonnie K. “Blue Eyes” Lyons, 80, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. She was born November 16, 1945, in Huntington, West Virginia, the daughter of John and Louise (Thacker) Johnson. Bonnie was a dedicated member of the Wesley Chapel Baptist Church. She enjoyed garage sales, shopping (especially the clearance aisle), tending her flowers, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her loving family and many friends. Survivors include her beloved husband of 63 years; Orville Lyons, three sons; Tony Lyons (Eve), Mickey Lyons (Heather Brakeall) and John Lyons (Angie), nine grandchildren; T. J., Jessica, Ryan, Tiffany, Stephh, Destiny, Anna, John Jr., and Joy, many great grandchildren, siblings; Aunita Morningstar and Richard Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers; Dee, Davie, Danny and Tommy John, sisters; Darlene, Diane and Nancy and her parents. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Monday, April 20 in the Wesley Chapel Baptist Church, 1809 Short Cut Road, Urbana, Ohio 43078. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, April 21, in the church with Pastor Buddy Tuttle and Pastor Jay Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Plattsburg Cemetery.
