Brian "Fly" E. Johnson

Brian E. “Fly” Johnson, 38, of Springfield, passed away November 7, 2020. He was born October 18, 1982 in Springfield, the son of Barry and Bonnie (Anderson) Johnson. Fly was employed by Meade’s Paving & Seal Coating for 16 years. Survivors include his parents, Bonnie Johnson and Barry Johnson; children, Brian and Ava Lynn Johnson; siblings, Sharon, James, David, Kenny, Christina, Nicole, Brandon, and Michael; close dear friend and mentor, Rick Meade; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Asbury and Helen Johnson and Sherman and Sharon Leeth. Brian had a heart of gold. He would do anything he could to help anybody out. He enjoyed spending time with his kids, family, and friends. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Friday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with services starting at 7:00 pm.
