Carol Lynne Griffitts

Carol Lynne Griffitts, 67, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024, in Springfield Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 18, 1957, in Springfield, the daughter of Roy and Georgia (Miller) McClure. Carol enjoyed sewing, crafts, fishing and spending time with her family. She had been employed at Assurant in Springfield. Survivors include her loving husband James H. Griffitts Jr. They had been together for 24 years and have been married for the last six years, four children; Eric (Holly) Riggle, Bryan (Becky) Riggle, Douglas Riggle and James H. Griffitts III, grandchildren; Adison Griffitts, Isabell Taylor, Chloe Riggle, Destinee Riggle, Rebecca Riggle, Gabriel Riggle, Wyatt Riggle, James H. Griffitts IV, Jake Riggle, and Austin Riggle. four great grandchildren, two brothers; Gary (Lisa) McClure and Randy (Annette) McClure and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter; Jillian Griffitts and her parents. Graveside services for Carol will be held at a later date in Fletcher Chapel Cemetery.  Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
