Carolyn Sue Eaton

Carolyn Sue Eaton, 74, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026, in her home. She was born September 28, 1951, in Springfield, the daughter of Donald Lamar and Juanita Lucille (Shipley) Eaton, Miss Eaton enjoyed playing softball, bowling, yard sales, and watching movies but most of all she loved spending time with her beloved family and friends. She had been employed at Miller Printing for 27 years and Walmart for 10 years and was a graduate of North High School. Survivors include her beloved daughter; Traci Eaton, one brother; Paul (Tammy) Eaton, one sister; Tammy Kennedy, her best friend for 25 years; Peggy Simpson, numerous nieces and nephews and her dog; Pepper. She was preceded in death by a sister; Sandra Shaw, her grand dog; Azure Bobo Eaton and her parents. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will follow at 7:00PM with Pastor Alvy Slone and Pastor Ryan Wysong officiating.
