Charlene C (Fraley) Irick

Charlene C. Irick, 84, of Urbana, Ohio, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at Springfield Regional Medical Center on January 21, 2025. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on May 26, 1940, and then adopted by Arthur and Goldie Fraley. She spent many years as a security guard at Lazarus and Macy’s, then later at Navistar. Her passion was the women’s ministry at the Ohio Reformatory for Women. Charlene is survived by her loving husband, Roger Irick; her children, Christopher Wibright and Alena Lyon; her step-son; Douglas (Stephanie) Irick; her grandchildren, Sierra, Seth, Chrissa, Tyler, Troy and Savannah; and her great-grandchildren, Kingsly, Valencia, Phoenix and Cashton. Charlene lived a full and meaningful life, marked by her unwavering loyalty, her thirst for knowledge, and her deep appreciation for beauty in all its forms. While she will be profoundly missed by all who knew her, the impact of her life's work and the memories she created with her loved ones will continue to resonate for generations to come.

A visitation will be held Monday, January 27, 2025, from 1:00pm until the service begins at 1:30pm, officiated by Pastor Rick Clos at the Rose Hill Burial Park Chapel.
