Charles Edward DeHart

          Charles Edward DeHart, 82, of Springfield, passed away May 26, 2025, in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born on January 11, 1943. Mr. DeHart was a member of the Union Club. He enjoyed playing cards and horse racing. Charles was a Veteran of the United States Army and he was retired from Navistar. Survivors include one daughter; Heather Perkins, two granddaughters; Lauren Perkins and Summer Anon and one great grandson; Aiden. He was preceded in death by his wife; Darlene DeHart and his parents. At Mr. DeHart’s’ request, his remains will be cremated and there will be no services.
