Charles "Mark" Wright, age 66, of South Charleston, passed away peacefully in Select Specialty Hospital, on July 25, 2024, in Columbus, Oh. Mark was born on September 23, 1957, in Springfield, Ohio to Charles P Wright and Roberta M Wright.

Mark is Survived by his wife, Bobbi Wright; Children, Mackenzie (Jeff) Schuerman, Spencer (Brittany) Wright, Peyton Wamer, and Cole Wamer; Grandchildren, Cora Wright, Ameila Wright, and Oliva Wright; Brother, Phil (Judy) Wright; Nieces, Jessie (George)Brann, and Josie (fiancé Zach Johnson) Maggard; Great Niece; Lilly Brann; Best Friend, Mike Garringer. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles P Wright and Roberta M Wright.

Mark was passionate about baseball and often indulged in watching the Cincinnati Reds games with his favorite dog Pete. Mark was a sports fan his whole life. He even took pride in coaching the kids and all their friends little league teams as they were growing up. Baseball will always be a special bond that his wife and kids will share with Mark. Mark was talented at many different things and had experience in a number of jobs. He was most proud of being a contractor for Wright Construction, working for his dad and then later on for himself. He was also very proud of his time as an auctioneer and would often show off his bid calling even for years following his time at the job. Mark even tried his hand at acting at the Springfield Civic theatre playing the roll of Bo Decker in the play Bus Stop. He was so proud of that roll his entire life. Above all, Mark's family was everything to him and he cherished every moment he could spend with them. His wife and children remember Mark as a kind and loving husband and father who always encouraged them to pursue their goals. His wife and children also remember Mark for all his funny quotes and one liners and will always cherish the true kid at heart he was.

The family would like to thank caregivers at Springfield Regional Medical Center, OSU hospital, and Select Speciality Hospital Staff for their care.
