Clara Leona (Berner) Griffin

     Clara Leona Griffin, 70, of New Carlisle, passed away May 1, 2025, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 2, 1954, in Springfield, the daughter of Forest and Lulu (Apple) Berner. Clara attended the Enon Crosswalk Worship Center and the Grace Fellowship Church. She enjoyed sewing, scrap booking, all kinds of crafts, cooking but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her beloved family.  Clara had been employed as a driver for Brinks Security, a job she thoroughly enjoyed. Survivors include two children; Tara Griffin and Jeffrey (Nikki) Griffin, six grandchildren; Mackenzi Vanbeber (Rylee Rose), Adisyn Vanbeber, Bryce Vanbeber, Marcus Griffin, Levi Lange and Allyson Lange, siblings; Patricia Wood, James (Alice) Berner, Dave (Jerri) Berner, George (Tine) Berner, Henry Berner and Daniel (Diane) Berner, sister -in-law; Pam Berner and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother; Richard Berner and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 7, 2025, in the Grace Fellowship Church, 85 Quick Road, New Carlisle, Ohio 45344 with Pastor Jacob Berner and Pastor Mike Berner officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00AM until the time of the services in the church. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
