Danny E. Kinder, 66 of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born January 3, 1959, the son of Kyle and Lokie (Cole) Kinder. Dan enjoyed going bowling and playing bocce ball with friends, participating in the Special Olympics, and visiting the Wright Patt Air Force Museum. He was an avid Ohio State football and basketball fan. He loved Elvis Presley and was so happy when he got to visit Graceland twice. He had been employed at TAC Industries. Survivors include his sister, Tammy Parker; nephews, Brent Parker and Kyle Kinder; nieces, Alexis Kinder and Karen Bobst; and his very best friend, Frank. Dan and Frank were like brothers. They used to hang out almost every Saturday, along with Lisa and Gale. Dan was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Greg Kinder; and grandparents, Paul and Pearl Kinder and Rolfe and Carrie Cole. Dan was a truly great guy who will be missed by all who knew him. He loved life. He was so proud of his home. He took great joy in calling his Aunt Linda on a regular basis, and if you had access to Amazon, he wouldn’t hesitate to ask you to order something for him. Dan loved Jesus, his family, and his friends. Special thanks to Arbors at Springfield for the wonderful care they gave Dan. Funeral services will be held at Crosspoint Church, 3333 E. National Rd. Springfield, at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 27, 2025. Pastor Richard Blevins will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 12-1 pm. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park Arrangements entrusted to the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
