Darrin Jay “DJ” Pollock, Jr., 35, of Springfield, passed away December 3, 2024 at Springfield Regional Hospital. He was born October 27, 1989 in Springfield, the son of Cathy McGath and Darrin Pollock, Sr. DJ had been employed in tree service. Survivors include his parents, Cathy McGath and Darrin Pollock, Sr.; two children, Darrin J. Pollock III and McKenna Pollock; siblings, Sarah Crider, Benjamin Crider, Matthew Crider, and Jennifer Crider; maternal grandparents, Violet and Richard McGath-Addison; step-grandmother, Denise Pollock; special aunt and uncle, Sophia and Alex Bowermaster; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Damien Pollock, Sr. and grandparents, Mickey McGath, Richard Pollock, and Ruth Grimes. Visitation will be held from 3-6 pm Tuesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with funeral services to follow at 6:00 pm. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
