Darryl Roger Jenkins, Jr.

Darryl Roger Jenkins, Jr., 67, of Springfield, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025. He was born November 1, 1957 in Springfield, the son of Shirley Ann (Dale) and Darryl R. Jenkins, Sr. Darryl graduated from Greenon High School and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He loved animals and sports and enjoyed playing golf with his son. Survivors include his son, Darrin Jenkins; daughter, Aubrey Huff; sisters, Tammi (Roberto) Rosales and Penny (Curtis) Stidham; special companion, Deanna Jaynes; grandchildren, Aaron, Diera, Darrin Jr, Caleigh, Tarrin, Karinna, Traegan, Tyrin, Audreyana and Kyle; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Karen (Huff) Jenkins; son, Dustin R. Jenkins; daughter, Starr Nicole Huff; siblings, Dennis, Dale, Vickie, and Dawn Jenkins; and grandchildren, Brittany and Aaron Lee. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Monday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with services following at 7:00 PM. Pastor Richard "Rick" Scott will officiate.
