Daujmerea "Dauj" Shanquelle Roberts

Daujmerea Shanquelle Roberts “Dauj,” 31, of Springfield, passed away on April 26, 2022 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born May 19, 1990 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Marlo Roberts and Gerald Gilbert. Dauj leaves behind three children, Jah’iere Roberts, Jah’Riyah Roberts, and Jah’mi Roberts; her father, Gerald Gilbert; brother, Douglas Roberts; sister, Desmerea Roberts; and grandparents, Charles Roberts and Sandra Person. She was preceded in death by her mother. Dauj was loved by so many. The world has lost a loving, giving, caring mother, who loved her children. She was a strong woman with a great smile, and she lived life to the fullest. We are so terribly saddened that she is gone way too soon. Dauj will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Paul Dowdy officiating. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services.
