David Clark

David Clark, 61, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Northwood Skilled Nursing. He was born on August 15, 1964 in Pine Mountain, Georgia, the son of George William and Lillie Pearl (Dunton) Clark. David enjoyed shooting pool and spending time with his friends and family. He loved barbecuing, music, and dressing to the occasion. Survivors include his six children, Amber Shafer, Amanda Clark (Tyron), Samantha Clark (Dale), David Clark, Jr. (Michelle), Davon Clark (Savannah), and Dustin Clark; 15 grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Jacobs and Louise McCoy; brothers, George, Curtis, and Willie Clark; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jesse and Frank Clark. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 21 in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
