David Walker Jr.

David Walker Jr., 42, of Springfield passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2026. He was born on April 21, 1984, to Lisa Mintz and the late David Walker Sr. He graduated from Tecumseh High School in 2002. David was a valued subcontractor at MacGillivray Renovations for 18 years. He loved being outdoors and skateboarding. He was a huge music lover and enjoyed playing guitar. David most loved being a dad and spending time with his kids. He is survived by his mother Lisa; two sons Shuriken Edge and Killian David; two sisters Bailey Walker and Evaeh Bean; Nephew Giovani Walker; and special friend Randy MacGillivray. He was proceeded in death by his father, David; his paternal grandparents David and Doris Walker; maternal grandmother Judith Mintz; and uncles Dana and Darren Walker. David was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Dave’s celebration of life will be on Sunday, July 5th, 5pm-7pm with a sharing of memories at 7pm in the Jones-Kenney-Zechman Funeral Home. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com
