David "Cowboy" Allen Jaques

David Allen “Cowboy” Jaques, 63, of Springfield, passed away December 5, 2018 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born April 26, 1955 in Maryville, Tennessee, the son of Leroy S. Jaques and Violet (Harrison) Sickles. Mr. Jaques attended the Pentecostal Church. He was a member of the Machinist Club and enjoyed spending time with his friends at Pleasant Corner. Survivors include three children, Kevin Jaques, Justin Jaques, and Jessica Jaques and fiancée Alex Nokes; daughter in law, Angela Messer; grandchildren, Xavier, Sebastian, and Garret; sister, Faye (Glen) Marsh; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora L. Jaques; a brother, Joseph L. Jaques; and his parents. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Thursday, December 13 in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Garlough Cemetery.
