David J. Routzahn Jr. 63, passed away unexpectedly in Allen View Healthcare Center on Sunday, March 12, 2023. He was born on July 15, 1959 in Springfield, OH, son of David J. and Judith (Shields) Routzahn, Sr. David was a roofer most of his life. He was an avid fan of Cincinnati Reds baseball and Ohio State and Minnesota Vikings football. Survivors include his mother; Judith Gifford, one daughter; Paige Edwards, three grandchildren; Aiden, Adrian, and Arrionna Massie, siblings; Steve Routzahn (Elaina Brown) and Nancy (Tony) Hillard; nieces, Tina (Chris) Dugan, Addison Hillard; nephews, Robert Brown, Nick Hillard (Starla Pinks), Mallorie (Carlin) Pritchet, and several great nieces and nephews and many cousins, aunts, and an uncle. Also, very special friends Natasha and George Rager and their children. He was preceded in death by his father, David J. Routzahn, Sr. The family would like to thank the staff of Allen View Healthcare Center for their caring and kindness for David over the last several years. No services are planned at this time.
