On Monday, March 2, 2020, Deana LeeAnn Foster, 50, loving wife and mother, passed away unexpectedly in her home in Springfield, OH.
Deana was born on May 21, 1969 in Springfield to Harold Dean and Patti (Blazer) Burton. She graduated from the Southeastern Academy of Travel and Tourism in Orlando, FL in 1989. She started her travel and tourism career shortly after at Atlanta Airports in Georgia. She later moved back to Ohio to work in the travel sector at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. During this time, she married the love of her life, Theodore M. Foster Jr. in 1992 in Pigeon Forge, TN. After a brief stint at Navistar, she worked at Home Interiors before finding desire in being a stay-at-home mom in 1996 when their daughter, Kimberly, was born. Her family was her passion. She knew no stranger and had a very kind and loving heart. She was generous and fiercely protective of her family. She was beautiful and loved to have a laugh. She loved reading, playing games with family, hosting euchre tournaments, bird watching, and painting ceramics. She also loved doing various arts and crafts with her daughter, nieces and nephews, and granddaughter. She was preceded by her father, Dean Burton, in 2015. She is survived by her mother, Patti, husband of 27 years, Ted Foster Jr, daughter Kimberly (Sebastian) Nelson, 2 siblings, 2 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service lead by Pastor Bill Warax will be held on March 17, 2020 at 5:30 PM at Springfield Church of Christ. Visitation will be held prior, starting at 4:00 PM.
