Deborah Sue (Tennant) Neely

Deborah Sue (Tennant) Neely, 72, born December 23, 1952, in Waynesburg, PA, died September 15, 2025, in Springfield, OH surrounded by her loving family. Born to Robert Gene and Carol Lou (Clovis) Tennant. She graduated from Cameron High School in 1970 and married her high school sweetheart Danny Lee Neely on November 27, 1971.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years; Danny Neely, sister; Judy Flannery, aunt and uncle; Bob and Sheila Filbey, daughter; Erin Michelle (Neely) Johnson (Ron Merritt), son; Danny Lee Neely Jr. (Elizabeth Hoosier-Neely), daughter; Amanda Sue (Neely) Sheets (Nate Dallenbach).

Grandchildren; Andrea Johnson-McAdams, Ashley Ashton (Jon), Chelsie Barnhouse (Ben), Isaiah Lamberson, Emily Walton, Tyuan Lamberson, Lindsey Johnson, Robbie Neely (Amanda), Mary (Ali) Neely, Elissa Etayem, Lucy Buynak and Logan Neely.

 Great-grandchildren, Jaden Herrold, Dominic and Alena Barnhouse, Hayden, Ryder and Jayce Ashton and many nieces and nephews.

Debbie worked for Waldenbooks for 25 + years before retiring in 2012. Known affectionately as “Nana”, her family was her life. Her grandchildren were the light in her eyes. She loved Christmas and Gone with the Wind.

Preceded in death by her parents; Robert and Carol Tennant, brother; Bob Tennant, grandparents, aunts and uncles, as well as her best friend; Joy Pierson.

She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. We love you and miss you.

Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until 1:00PM Saturday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will begin at 1:00PM. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
