Donald Larkin Hinshaw, 73, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 in his home. He was born November 11, 1950 in Ross County, Ohio, son of the late Harold E. and Wanda M. (Swank) Hinshaw. Donald was a veteran of the US Army, serving in Vietnam. He retired from Navistar after 35 years. For many years, he enjoyed flying radio-controlled planes and racing radio-controlled cars, and camping and boating with family and friends. Survivors include his loving wife, Marsha L. (Sellman) Hinshaw; two sons, Jeremy (Wendy) Hinshaw and Jason (Amanda) Hinshaw; five grandchildren, Hannah, Amelia, Jack, Maddix, and McClane Hinshaw; sister, A. Elizabeth (Robert) Flowers; and niece, Karen Flowers. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
