Donald "Butch" Lee Burry, Sr.

Donald Lee Burry, Sr. “Butch”, 71, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025. He was born June 26, 1953 in Springfield, Ohio, son of the late Ronald Burry and Pauline Laffert. Mr. Burry was a mechanic, and he loved fishing and boating. In addition to his parents, Butch was preceded in death by his sister, Nina Schaefer. He leaves behind his girlfriend of 22 years, Mary Denica; his beloved dogs, Sarg and Rusty; and his brother, Eugene Burry. He had four children, Teresa (Tommy) Saba, Donald “Butch” (Billie) Burry, Jr., Andy (Sarah) Burry, and Whittany (Allen) Burry-Smith; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A celebration of his life will be held at Restoration at Cedarville Church, 114 W. Elm St., Cedarville, at a time to be announced. Arrangements entrusted to the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
