Donald “George” Brown, 75, of Springfield, Ohio passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025 after several months of failing health. He was a father and a brother, but his most proud roll was being a grandfather; for the last 33 years he’s been known as Pap. He would do anything for anyone who needed help. He is survived by 4 daughters, Sherrill (Terrence) Robinson, Sherry Dooley, Heather (Brad) Trimmer, and Kendra Keeran; 7 granddaughters, Terianna, Zerrya, Latasia, Aleeseah, Aryah, Aunah, and Kiki; 5 grandsons, Casey, Terrell, Tyrinn, Malcolm, and Resean; several great-grandchildren, including Zi’Marionna, Cam’ryn, Casey Jr, and A’zailee Noelle. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie (Downing) Brown; father, Charles Brown; 4 brothers, Charles Jr, Gary, Terry, and Jim; one sister, Patricia (Brown) Frock; and a granddaughter, Kelsey Robinson. No services are planned at this time, but there will be a celebration of George’s life at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
