Dorothy A. Mustache, 78, of Springfield, passed away April 1, 2026, in Hospice of Dayton. She was born August 28, 1947, in Springfield, the daughter of Leon and Opal (Cron) Browning Sr. Dorothy was a member of the New Beginnings Christian Church. She enjoyed country music and doing crossword puzzles. Survivors include her brother; Joe Browning, her sister; Mary Palmer, her special niece; Lisa (Philip) Mercurio, great nieces and nephews; Amber Ely (Dallas Russell), Ashley Ely (Ryan Russell) and Ronnie Ely and many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by a son; Johnny Mustache, a sister; Beverly Jones, a bother; Leon Browning Jr and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, April 8 in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Marvin Phillips officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Dorothy’s family would like to express their sincere thanks to all of the physicians, nurses and staff at Hospice of Dayton for their kindness and loving care.
