Elizabeth Marcy "Liz" (Baker) Muncy

Elizabeth Marcy “Liz” Muncy, 63, of Springfield, passed away February 1, 2026, in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born September 19, 1961, in Springfield, the daughter of Elden and Ethel (Simpson) Baker Sr. The most important thing in Liz’s life were her grandchildren who were the apples of her eyes. She is survived by three children; Douglas (Amy) Muncy Jr., Brian (Christine) Muncy and Suzan (Joel) Stalder, two grandchildren; David Muncy and Alexander Muncy, four brothers and two sisters. She was preceded in death by two brothers and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Friday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
