Elizabeth "Betsy" Ann (Miller) Hess

Elizabeth Ann “Betsy” Hess, 84, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Wooded Glen. She was born April 21, 1941 in Findlay, Ohio, the daughter of Howard and Marjorie (Plotts) Miller. Betsy had retired from Assurant. She was an artist who enjoyed painting and decorating cakes. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family. Survivors include two children, Douglas Fent and Amy Anglemyer (Jon Armentrout); two grandchildren, Brittnay (Kyle) Mills and Derek (Caitlin) Anglemyer; great-grandchildren, Brookelynn, Parker, Liam, Mia, and Tatum; brother, Mark (Connie) Miller; nieces and nephew, Kim, Daphne, and Matt; and her favorite grand-puppy, Eddie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hess on August 27, 2021; sister, Sally Shoat; and her parents. A private family gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate Betsy’s life.
