Gary E. Dulaney, 79, of Springfield, passed away July 31, 2025, in Hospice of Dayton. He was born July 4, 1946, in Springfield, the son of Jo Ann (Hyer) and Clay Speakman. Gary was a member of the V. F. W. Post 1031 and the Am Vets Post 25. He was retired from Woeber’s Mustard and was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He enjoyed fishing, driving his truck, Nascar and car races but most of all he loved being with his beloved grandchildren. Gary is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Kathleen (McBride) Dulaney, five children; Jo Jo (Michael) Tignor, Crystal White, Mary Jo Dulaney, Terri Dulaney and Gary Lee Dulaney (Charly Leatherman), grandchildren; Aaron (Haleigh) Massie, Victoria Dulaney, Mia Dulaney, Brenda (Shawn) Shoemaker, Terrasita Weber, Travis Duncan, Frankie (Tracy) Ward, Thomas Duncan, Tiffany Tignor (Brandon Williams) and Grayson Dulaney, fourteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren, one brother; Rick (Diane) Speakman, a brother in law; Delbert “Butch” McBride and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by a sister; Dorothy Miller, a brother; Robert Dulaney and his parents. Funeral services, with Military Honors, will be held at 1:00PM Monday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Clos officiating.
