Gary Dean Padilla Jr, 47, of Springfield, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, following a brief illness. Gary was born on August 30, 1977, in Hamilton, Ohio to Gary Dean Padilla Sr and Wilma Jennings Holloway Padilla. His childhood was split between Springfield, Ohio and Pine Island, Florida. Gary graduated from Mariner High School in 1995. He worked for many years, first at Domino’s Pizza on South Limestone Street in Springfield before leaving for Stanley Electric in London, Ohio. Gary will be remembered for his humor and hilarious sarcasm, kindness, straight frankness, and abundant generosity. He was a big guy with an even bigger heart. He enjoyed baseball and played softball through a local league. He was an avid OSU and Manchester United fan. Gary also enjoyed spending time with his family; often helping, attending events, and going places with his beloved nieces and nephews whenever he could. He is proceeded in death by both parents and one brother, Kenneth Raymond Holloway. Left to cherish his memory are his two sisters, Tammy (Billy) King and Mindy (Pat) Hainzer, one nephew, Patrick Hainzer, four nieces, Peggy Propst, Olivia King, Julia Hainzer, and Ashley Hainzer. He is also survived by a great nephew, Robert Preston Jr, and three great-nieces, Kaia King, Amara King, and Arya Castle – all of whom he adored – along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many life-long friends. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
