Georgia Fager Obituary

Georgia Kay Fager of Springfield, Ohio, departed her earthly life on August 30, 2025. Georgia was born on February 5, 1970 to Jerry & Linda Rowe at Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She was later adopted by George Ervin Jr & Kay Stone. In her younger years, Georgia absolutely loved her IROC Camaro. She also enjoyed swimming in the family pool and spending time with her family and friends.

During Georgia's school age years, she attended Middletown Christian School and Elizabethtown High School both located in Pennsylvania. As Georgia grew and became a young lady, she asked Jesus to be her Lord and Savior.

In 1991 she married Richard William Fager. In 1993 they were blessed with a son, Michael Anthony Fager. Besides Jesus, Georgia's greatest love was her son Michael. She was excited to see him marry Kristin Lynn Fager in June of 2021. While she enjoyed watching their relationship blossom into marriage, she also enjoyed working over a decade as a cashier at Rite Aid Pharmacy in Springfield, Ohio.

In the Fall of 2023, she moved to Jeffrey Place located in Springfield, Ohio. There she made many friends, enjoyed playing bingo and participating in craft night. In May of 2024, she returned home for a visit to Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. There she reconnected with her biological parents, Jerry and Linda. Also during that visit, she was able to see and spend time with many of her extended family members.

Georgia was a Christian, devoted mom, beloved sister, family member and friend. Georgia is survived by her son Michael (Kristin) Fager of Springfield, Ohio, her biological parents Jerry & Linda Rowe, her adopted mother Kay Stone and her brother Buddy (Christine) Stone of Portage, Pennsylvania and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends on both sides of her family.

She was preceded in death by her adopted father, George Ervin Stone Jr and Aunt Hazel Armond both from Elizabethtown Pennsylvania and her granddaughter Isabella Marie Fager of Springfield, Ohio.

Georgia’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm Friday at Victory Baptist Church, 2691 W. Possum Rd. Springfield, with Pastor Daniel Stinger officiating.
