Georgia Lucille (Brickman) Forrest

Georgia Lucille Forrest, 75, of Springfield, passed away July 22, 2024, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 17, 1948, in Springfield, the daughter of Clarence and Thelma (Hawk) Brickman. Georgia was retired from the F. F. Mueller Center following 28 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed word search puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, crocheting, playing cards and most of all spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include one daughter; Claressa (Bill) Sharpe, one son; Jeff (Ramyann) Forrest, five grandchildren; twins; Cheyenne (Dillon) Gilvin and Leyenne (Triston) Rowland, Dustie (Skylar Beegle) Davis, Kylee Forrest (Cody Fuller) and Mackenzie Forrest (Anthony Marshall), eight great grandchildren; Mia, Leo, Jacksen, WrenLee, Gabriel, twins; RaeLynn and LaeLynn, Ezra and one on the way; Hudson, one brother; Joseph Brickman, one sister; Debra Fent, very special nephew and care giver; Donald Shepherd, numerous nieces and nephews and best friend; Linda Beekman. She was preceded in death by her son; Douglas Forrest, two brothers; Sonny and Gus Brickman, a sister; Ruby Williams and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Saturday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Todd Trimble officiating. Friends may visit with Georgia’s family from 12:00 Noon until the time of the services. Burial will follow in Garlough Cemetery. Condolence may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
