Georgia Dale Owens, 83, of South Charleston, passed away September 6, 2025, in Springfield Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 25, 1941, in Lucasville, Ohio, the daughter of Mount and Evelyn (Brown) Osborne. Mrs. Owens was a dedicated fifty-year member of the New Hope Church. She enjoyed gardening, reading her Bible working with her I Pad, spending winters in Florida with her husband Gary but especially being with her loving family and many friends. She is survived by her beloved husband; Gary L. Owens, three children; Diana Davis, Springfield, Robin (Michael) Shafer, Covington, OH, and Rodney (Cheryl) Owens, Springfield grandchildren; Brad (Samantha) Owens, Springfield, Danielle (Alan) Johnson, New Carlisle, OH, Rachel Michelle (Bradley) Weitzel, Sidney, OH, Tiffany (Derrek) Shively, Covington, OH, Christian (Nick) Miller, Cincinnati, OH and Cassie Owens, Springfield, great grandchildren; Alaina Georgia (Cason) McElwee, Astryd Owens, Cole Owens, Evan Borgerding, Kennedy Shively and Lucy Miller, two sisters; Judy Osborne and Brenda Bowen and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister; Joe Travis, a brother; Lowell Osborne and her parents. We were blessed to have her to love and cherish for 84 years. She had a Holy presence that was undeniable. We know how much she loved the Lord and is now resting with him. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Friday September 12, 2025, in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 1002 East High Street, Springfield, Ohio 45505. Funeral services will follow at 1;00PM with Pastor Kevin Moehn and Pastor Eli Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, South Charleston.
