TAYLOR, Harold Dewayne LaMont, 39 of Springfield, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 15, 2026. Harold was born on April 10, 1986, to Thurma Taylor and Grant Preston. Harold was employed at Taco Bell and was pursuing a better future for himself and his children by enrolling and actively taking courses in the Criminal Justice field at SNHU. Harold enjoyed building memories with his children, family, and friends.
Harold is survived by his wife, Angelique (Kellison) Taylor. His beloved sons, Harold “Junior” Taylor, Ryzel Taylor, Hezekiah Taylor, Donavon and Reshaun Kellison, Michael Hill, Elijah “McGyver” Donahue, Beloved daughters Amaria “NaNa” Taylor, Amiya “Sketti” Taylor, Lania Taylor, and Katlyn “Dooey” Taylor, Mikah “Mikah-Boo” Hill. His beloved siblings are Shawn Taylor, Gail Taylor, Asia Ogle (Nick), and Duwon Evans. Special nieces De Variah “Lady Bug” Strodes and Nicayla and nephews Deshawn Ordway, Nickolas Jr, and Nishaun. Uncle Bruce Taylor and Bobby Mims. Aunt Doris “Rink” Portis and Dorothy "Dink" Trollinger as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Harold shared a close friendship/brotherhood with Michael Hill, as well as a special friendship with Laura Stevens. Devoted partner Linda "Katie" Donahue.
Harold is preceded in death by his mother, Thurma “Sissie” Taylor, father, Grant Preston, unconditionally devoted stepfather, Charles Frambro, brother, Michael Taylor, and his aunt, Martha Robinson.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 6 pm on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Jones-Kenney-Zechman Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family from 5-6 pm. Repass will be at the VFW from 6 to 10 pm.
