Jack DeWayne Monhollen, 70, of Springfield, passed away July 25, 2025 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born December 16, 1954 in Dayton, the son of Foister and Dorothy (Carpenter) Monhollen. Jack was a member of the Local Iron Workers Union, the Union Club, Machinists Club, and the Eagles. He loved riding his motorcycle, working on cars and trucks and socializing with his friends. Survivors include two children, Devin N. (Bryant) Borders and Dameon Greentree; grandchildren, Bonnie, Aaliyah, and Blaine; his former wife;, Penny “Monhollen” Taylor; siblings, Garry “Butch” (Michelle) Monhollen and Debbie; sister-in-law, Judy Monhollen; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings, Donald “Don”, Ray, Ted Marvin, and Barbara Long, and his parents. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Tuesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday in the funeral home with Barron Seelig officiating. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery.
