Jacqulin L. Litteral March 22, 1939 – September 3, 2025
Jacqulin L. Litteral, age 86, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025, following a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. Born in Springfield, Jacqulin found joy in the simple pleasures of life and the warmth of the Florida sunshine.
After raising her sons, she began a 25-year career with Hyatt Hotels in Kissimmee, Florida, where she was admired for her dedication, grace, and warm hospitality. Following retirement, she and her husband enjoyed life as snowbirds, spending their time between Ohio and Florida.
Jacqulin had a deep love for God and a heartfelt devotion to the Salvation Army, whose mission and ministry she held close to her heart. In retirement, she especially enjoyed shopping trips with her dear friends Carol (Mark) Hubbard and Debbie (Steve) Able, her granddaughter, Katrina (Sam) Cochran, and her former daughter-in-law, Cindy (Miller) Litteral — moments filled with laughter, love, and shared joy.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Roy E. Litteral; her loving son, Barney R. Litteral, and his girlfriend, Jonica Beatty, who were devoted caretakers during the final two years of her life. Jacqulin is also survived by Roy’s children, whom she lovingly called her own: Ken, Doug, Vonnie (John) Burkitt, and Jill (Raymond) Caron; her cherished grandchildren, Katrina (Sam) Cochran and Charles; many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Eric; Roy’s daughter, Lynnette McDonald; Roy’s sons Rick, Samuel, and Michael; and her dear friend Carol (Mark) Hubbard.
Jacqulin was known for her wicked sense of humor — the kind that left your ribs aching and your cheeks sore from laughter. Her legacy of love, faith, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew and cherished her. Arrangements are being made by JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. No services are planned at this time. The family asks that you respect their privacy at this time of grief. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com
