James M. Stringfellow

                        James M. Stringfellow, 70, of South Charleston, passed away August 30, 2018 in Wood Glen Alzheimers Community, Dayton. He was born April 19, 1948 in Springfield, the son of Carl and Lelah (Wagner) Stringfellow. Mr. Stringfellow was a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Navy and was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of American chapter #97. He had been employed as a truck driver. Survivors include three children; Jacob Stringfellow, Miamisburg, OH, Michael Stringfellow, Lakeview, OH and Julie Tillman, Findlay, OH, several grandchildren, one sister; Pamela Sparks, South Charleston, two brothers; Carl (Penny) Stringfellow, Urbana and Daniel Stringfellow, Hubbard, TX and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother; Ralph Stringfellow, a nephew; David Stringfellow and his parents. Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until 3:00PM Monday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM with Pastor Larry Morrison officiating.
